Recent Installations of PEL Waste Reduction Equipment Waste Glass Bottle Crushers in Mayo & Dublin

The multi-award winning Bar One Gastro Pub on Rush Street in Castlebar Co. Mayo joined forces with another winner last week when a PEL Waste Reduction Equipment BB01 Baby Jaws waste glass bottle crusher was installed in the premises. The PEL BB01 Baby Jaws glass bottle crusher designed, developed and manufactured in Co. Mayo, is used by is bars, restaurants and other hospitality businesses for crushing and reducing the volume of the waste bottles produced in the course of their daily operations. The BB01 has been installed under the bar and will be used by staff to crush the waste beer, wine and other glass bottles as those bottles are poured or returned from the floor.

Ryans & FX Buckley’s Steakhouse of Parkgate Street produce approximately 5000 empty glass bottles on a weekly basis and have installed the PEL BB03 ‘Jaws’ waste glass bottle crusher in their basement to manage these waste bottles. The ‘Jaws’ machine is a low height version of the BB04 Mega Jaws and has been developed for use in areas with restricted height and space. The BB03 machine will reduce the volume of Ryans & FX Buckley’s Steakhouse waste glass bottles by a factor of 5:1 or 80% and with the crushed glass from all PEL Waste Reduction Equipment bottle crushers being fully recyclable, this waste glass will be recycled back into fresh glass bottles via the PEL machine.

Ryans & FX Buckley's have also installed a PEL200 cardboard and plastic baler to manage the waste recyclables being produced within the business. The PEL200 baler offers a space saving 800mm x 690mm footprint and a compact overall height of 1730mm. It produces a bale of 25 Kg and is the ideal solution for businesses requiring a baler but have very limited space available to accommodate the machine.
